After a decade of trying to secure a complete copy of Secret of the Stars (SNES) I finally got one. What a neat little twist on a console RPG; Much like Final Fantasy 3 for SNES (Or FF6 for you RPG snobs ) after the world changed and you had a bunch of sub quests with different parties that came together, The majority of the game is in that format with different parties that with vastly different stories and skillsets.

I would like to suggest the following - Wasteland 2 Banner Saga Banner Saga 2 thank you for your time. Great call on Banner Saga!!!!! Yea, I enjoyed it greatly... the whole "keep everyone safe and alive" thing was cool and the turn based system was fun and the art style was very unique and the story was solid. I have never even heard of that game before, I will check it out.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild was worth the cost of admission for the Switch; I grabbed a Wii U copy as well as the copy for the Switch which I haven't tried but given that its not a graphic monster it shouldn't lose much for anyone who wants to play it on the Wii U.
Horizon for PS4 is also a nice little escape; Truly the first game that made use of the PS4 Pro and 4K
In terms of Classics; Saturday Night Slam Masters for SNES just keeps finding its way back into my console;
Also TMNT: Turtles in Time, How did I miss this the first time around!

there was a remastered 4-player port of TMNT Turtles in Time on XBLA and PSN but it has since been removed

Let me just say;
Ignore the Mass Effect Reviews. At least if you were originally a fan of the series.
Its got technical issues, but no more than Fallout 4 launched with.
There are also a ton of fetch quests, however no more than I was going in Mass Effect 2.

I didn't get to play it today between the XBL outage and a doctors appointment, I'm very much looking forward to playing it tomorrow though.

I will say this; Stuff like Witcher and Horizon have raised the bar for these sorts of open world games.
Being released so close to Horizon will ultimately lead to many comparing the two; Mass Effect is not as visually stunning as Horizon
However I would say that Mass Effect thus far is deeper.

More of a Retro "What are you playing now"; But I was a little too strapped for time to slug through a mission in ME so I popped in "Cool World" for SNES.
It was a game that came with a lot auction I had bought to get my hands on copy of Tuff E Nuff. I was expected a Wayne's World-esk side scroller but it actually wasn't bad.

Well, after beating Mass Effect Andromeda, I must say, it was the shortest and most tedious as well as most buggy Mass Effect game to date. Still, I can't wait to play the Quarian Ark DLC.
As for what I'm playing NOW - Chroma Squad - freaking awesome and addictive game. Divinity Original Sin - it takes a lot of effort to figure out how and where quests play out... and goes in and out of being enjoyable.

Jurassic World Evolution & Railway Empire were very pleasant distractions in the last few months;
Evolution was just a blast in general that could be so frustrating (keeping your dinos from breaking loose) to very rewarding (when your dinos don't break loose) A solid 40ish hours of game play over a few months I could set down for weeks at a time and re-enter fresh.
Railway Empire sucked me in due to my weakness for Kalypso games and it was a lot of fun; However they really screw you on the DLC; I paid more in the DLC than the game itself and I paid full price for the game.
Another issue was that the achievements didn't work on XB1 so I bought it again on PS4 and everything was fine but still annoying

I'm with you on those games... I played Railway Empire a ton but barely touched any of its DLCs. JPE I played a LOT and have beaten all but the Return to Jurassic Park DLC but I plan to start that one very soon.
