Been a month or so since I finished a couple of these, but then, it's been longer than that since I posted in the CCU too!
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3) - Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia (PS2) - Star Ocean: The Last Hope (X360) [Main story line with Reimi's ending]
I truly enjoyed all 3 of these. Great stories and characters. Ar Tonelico hasn't aged well as far as graphics, but the gameplay is still solid. I thought about starting the 2nd Ar Tonelico, but then realized they changed up the battle mode and decided to wait a bit.
Been going through my library and trying to find a few games to play that I've never put into a console (funds are dried up for anything new). I found Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity (PS2) sitting on the shelf and started playing last night/this morning...how did I miss not playing this?!?! I must have bought it with a bunch of others and set it on the shelf and forgot about it...which is a shame, because the game has started out terrifically!
Also currently playing (at a snails pace):
- Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (PSP) - Really enjoying the dungeon crawling...but I only seem to play my handhelds as I'm lying in bed trying to get tired. lol, that doesn't translate to a lot of consecutive PT!) - Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island (NDS) - Same issue as the PSP game, though I'd really like to dedicate more time to this as I really do like it!
Well...that about catches everyone up on what I've been up to...video game-wise. Be Well & Stay Warm, friends!

Mikarlo: Speaking of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning: I thought this was the RPG of the generation. The most fun I have ever had in an RPG. What are your thoughts about this game?

well, I never beat it on my first character which I put a LOT of time into and played through the Hearthfire, Dawngaurd, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Companions and a lot of the side quests, but on my second character I played the Civil War then the Dragonborn DLC and finally the main questline... both playthroughs probably sucked over 100 hours out of my life.

I beat XCOM: Enemy Within finishing with 17 of 30 achievements. How long did it take? I maxed the tech tree, researches, foundry, officer school and bought all satellites and filled my hangers... so it wasn't a speed run, I spent a good number of days on it so I'd say a lot of time... it was more fleshed out than Xcom: Enemy Unknown but only by a little bit, not sure it was worth re-buying the game at $35
