sorry the PS4 isn't living up to your expectations Neither really is; I have found myself taking advantage of the crazy deals on some of the PS3 and 360 games I never got around to paying far more than I am actually using either my PS4 or One for gaming. However, I usually find myself in this situation for the first year after the launch of any console.

In fact, I wouldn't even trade my only copy of a vintage system for another vintage system. I am sure that you probably already know that though. LOL @ cosmo: I wouldn't be surprised if the One and PS4 weren't living up to the expectations of a lot of people. As you seemed to be saying, there just aren't that many games out there yet.

Even now months and months later I still find the selection for both consoles to be lacking. Setting aside the "heavy hitters" it may just be me but it seems there are a lot less second tier titles being released on the new gen consoles. It seems to be a constant wait for the next "big game"

that and most of the big games don't really have single-player modes...

thankfully... but last gen most indie games were very inexpensive like 1-5 dollars and even the XBLA and PSN games were usually 5-15 dollars but now it seems like most games are 15-25 dollars

The transition from last gen to new gen (at least for me) seemed to come far faster this time around. Xbox One has some depth fairly quickly then nothing now some depth; PS4 is winning me over via PSN Games rather than conventional releases but either way I find that the time to move the last gen consoles to the "classics" room is getting nearer.

I have a huge backlog of 360 and PS3 games... most of which are sealed... but with the free games on XB1, I've been keeping busy on there...
