This thread is for the purpose of showing member collections and/or video game setups. I will be adding pics soon but feel free to add your own first if you so desire. Thanks in advance for your participation in this thread.  It struck me as being rather odd that nobody has started this thread already. I hope that it is okay to make this thread. A collection post by a mod would serve to affirm this.  |

![]() That's really a nice setup you have there! Everything is neatly in place, organized, and well-displayed. I especially like the display that you have recessed into the wall. That is an excellent use of space. Thanks for those pics. They make a nice start to the thread.  I wish that my video game room was as neat and tidy right now as what you have. There are a couple of areas in my setup that need a little work....and if I move said stuff out, I will only mess up another area. LOL I will at least try to have pics of my system shelving soon though. EDIT: So here are some pics of my system shelving. Space in the video game room is lacking so I had to open the door for the first shot: ![]() ![]()  I had to position myself between one of the racks and a pile of "I don't know what to do with these items." in order to get this limited view.  This is from the same spot as the last pic.... Notice the keyboard in the lower right corner. Yeah, it's a bit disorganized once you get outside the frames of these pics. LOL       I tried my best to keep surrounding items out of the photos but, as you can see in a few of the pics, it didn't work out too well.  There is still a bit of work to do. Unfortunately I was unable to get all of my systems shelved (off the top of my head....two PS1 consoles, a PS2, PS3, PSP, XBOX, XBOX 360, a spare Magnavox Odyssey 2, and Japanese Sega Dreamcast)....and even some that are shelved can't be seen due to the fact that they are behind other systems. (GBC, GBA, Hyperscan, a spare loose Saturn, two spare boxed GameCubes, a loose SNES, loose APF M1000, a loose VIC-20, a loose C64, and a few more systems that I can't remember at the moment). I was sure that when I constructed the shelving units (They are both 88" x 50" x 24.5".) I would have enough room but sadly this isn't the case......and I still don't have a Colecovision. LOL I just hope that I never have to move because these shelves feel like they weigh a ton when they are empty.....and taking them apart would be a major pain.  |

I had an Xbox, a GameCube, a Gameboy Advance, and later a PS2. Collecting from that generation on has kept me plenty busy. Also, I have a lot of retro game compilation discs for when I get the retro urge. |

nice photos guys. seriously jealous originalKILLJOY i dont know if i asked before but how come you dont have any retro consoles/games? @kg what you gonna do about your dupes you couldnt fit? i want to see updated game collection I was able to place most of my duplicate systems on the shelves but those that aren't may fit on the small shelves I plan to construct in the corner of the room (between the chimney and south wall). As for updated pics......the room isn't quite ready yet. I still have to remove some non-gaming items, move my loose Atari carts from the south wall to the west wall, move my loose handheld games tower (which also has drawers for manuals, controllers, TV/Game switch boxes, memory cards, plugs, and A/V cords) from the east wall to the south wall, push my racks a little more toward the north wall, add a 4th rack, empty a few boxes which currently have games to be placed on said rack, shuffle my entire collection of games around so that the added games can be organized by system, and check three other boxes of games for duplicates to be traded or singles to be racked. It may take a little time to accomplish this but I am working a little each day toward this goal. |
