Did anyone else bite on this shameless marketing promotion?
I actually don't mind the Xbox One S; Smaller, Quieter, Better USB placement, and I genuinely see a difference in the 4K output; But it the up-scaling but especially in games that support the HDR (Recore was stunning)
Whereas the PS4 Pro started out of the gate so glitchy; Some of the games after whatever patching they needed in order to support 4K simply stopped working.
Its largely cleaned up now; but what a pain.

well, I would love to use a One S for the USB placement alone but with the Scorpio coming out next year I'm just going to wait for that... as for the PS4, I don't usually buy games that would look any better in 4K... so, nah.

I was debating the same thing when Scorpio was announced; However just for Mass Effect my hope is that its a worthwhile pick up.

lol I just got my pre-order date reschedule email... I was lucky enough to pre-order the deluxe edition on amazon when it was 15% off so, I'll be seeing it on launch day for less than MSRP... I also have high expectations.

It took a while to get the PS4 Pro and Xbox One S hooked up again to enjoy them in the new setting
However my general comment post patches and updates is the graphic difference is far more present in games optimized for PS4 Pro than I am seeing with the S

I have enjoyed the external USB 3.0 Support on Xbox One for a while; Generally speaking I found it actually seemed faster than loading it on the HDD of the console itself.
However I finally got around to taking advantage of the PS4 update that allows for external HDD; Am I alone in the thought that it just seems so much slower?

I've been using a 6TB external for the XBO and a 2TB for the 360 for quite some time and they do seem faster. I haven't had the need to do so with my PS4 yet...
