I'll probably get one at some point... although, I also said that about the Wii U and I still don't have one...

I'll probably get one at some point... although, I also said that about the Wii U and I still don't have one... You didn't miss much with the Wii U; Its claim to fame for me is the almost always blinking "Home" button on the handheld part while in the charger annoying me endlessly.

Kudos to Nintendo for not screwing over the few who did get a Wii U by simply punting The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild over to the Switch without any Wii Version

It wasn't as challenging to get a Switch on launch without a pre-order as I thought it may be; I had a harder time getting one of those mini-NES'.
Not sure if that bodes poorly for sales, but I was able to get a grey version the day of launch in a brick and mortar store.
Zelda is excellent and makes buying the system worthwhile out of the box; The problem is a lot of the other launch games are very gimmicky;
Its like when I brought the Wii home that first weekend and everyone wanted a shot at Wii Sports;
My concern for the Switch is much like it was for the Wii; You won't get a ton of third party support so if you don't give us proper versions of the first party games we want its going to gather dust very quickly

there are now rumors about the Switch warping and/or bending while being charged...

I checked my switch when I first saw the reports; My Switch lives in the dock which would likely make me more vulnerable to the "bend";
However so far nothing I would consider shocking.
Maybe its because I turn my unit off when I am done with it as opposed to leaving it in standby?

Zelda and Mario(s) this generation for Switch may have been the most satisfying versions since SNES.

I'm still avoiding them... but I did pick up a Switch and have a few games for it pre-ordered... and I'm considering Into the Breach and Civ VI
